I continue to be dismayed by the attempts of some people to blame the Charlie Hebdo staff for the terrorist attack that killed several members of the staff and a number of other people besides. If you go over to reason.com, you can check out Anthony Fisher’s article highlighting some of these comments. Most of them seem to be along the lines of, “Well, the murders should not have happened, but they wouldn’t have if those awful people at Charlie Hebdo had not been so mean and hateful.” It makes me wonder if these people are really thinking about the things they are saying. Posted in Argumentation, First Amendment, In the News, Libertarianism, Philosophy, Politics with tags Charlie Hebdo, free speech, Freedom of expression, liberty, offensive speech on January 8, 2015 by XajowSome people seem to believe that if someone finds the expression of another offensive, that expression should not and cannot be considered free speech. Which is an emotional argument, not a rational one. By which I mean, it is an intellectually shallow, illogical and immature argument. It is an argument that cannot be defended by reason. If you doubt me on this, try to find such an argument that is supported by reason and not by emotional language. I am quite certain you cannot. Continue reading
Free Speech Is More Important Than the Feelings of Terrorists
Posted in First Amendment, In the News, Philosophy, Politics with tags Charlie Hebdo, free speech, Freedom of expression, terrorists are cowards on January 7, 2015 by XajowIf you have not paid attention to the news today, a French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, was attacked by Muslim terrorists and twelve people were killed. The attack was carried out by cowards who could not bear to see Islam’s prophet Mohammed mocked in cartoons published by Charlie Hebdo. Some people have suggested that the staff of Charlie Hebdo should have been less irresponsible. Which makes me angry. So yes, I am going to rant about it. Continue reading

Posted in Nothing At All with tags moving forward, self-esteem on January 5, 2015 by XajowRemembrary, remembrary, the fifth of January… No, that does not really work. It is all well and good for you to expect me to write well but I have to come up with the… Oh fine. You’re right. I should try harder. Hm. Now is the winter of my discontent made glorious summer by my own something something something. Hrm. Yeah, that could have gone better. Anyway, I need to get on with this post. A Brief Story About Two People in a Restaurant
Posted in D/s, Story Time with tags D/s, dominance, fiction, story, submission on October 12, 2014 by XajowHrm. Chrome seems to no longer recognize the default fonts for this wordpress theme. So if this blog now looks ugly in your Chrome browser, it is not my fault. Anyway, yesterday I put up a little story of a strict D/s relationship. So let us try for something a little bit lighter today. This post is probably Not Safe For Work. Naughty words have been kept to a minimum, but they might pop up here and there. This story involves an adult situation of a D/s and probably sexual (or at least sensual) nature between consenting adults. If this offends you, too bad, I wrote it anyway. If you don’t like this kind of story, then don’t read it. You have been warned. Continue reading

You yearn for my wisdom and… No? Oh. You’re getting on just fine without me. Okay. Well, anyway, I am trying to move on. So I will try to do something fun. Which means it is time for a warning. This post is Not Safe For Work. Within are naughty words and sexual situations. If you don’t like that sort of thing, then don’t read this post. Also, this fantasy involves Dominance/submission, and a some of the other parts of BDSM as well. If you do not want to read about a male dominant disciplining a female submissive, then go elsewhere for entertainment. You have been warned. Continue reading
Okay, Let’s Talk About Me
Posted in Uncategorized on September 29, 2014 by XajowI should explain my absence. This will not be easy for me. And I am not going to delete this post. This will become part of the official record. Which means you will not get a lot of detail. I will try, however, to explain why I have not been posting much. If you would rather not know, just ignore this post. If you want to know, then dare to read on. Continue reading
Grumbles from the Xajow
Posted in Uncategorized on September 15, 2014 by XajowThere was a post here, one with grumbling and bad words. I got some things off my chest. And the post served its purpose. And now it is gone, with just this text to mark where it had once been. Trust me, this way is best.
